Project Description:
Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore needed a centralized platform to provide access to various educational resources for their students. The college administration decided to implement Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop to meet this requirement. As a Solution Partner, I was responsible for implementing the project.
I was responsible for implementing Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop in the college’s infrastructure. The project involved setting up data center hardware servers, configuring Active Directory, Integrating NetApp storage, and deploying Ncomputing thin clients for students to connect to citrix from the LAB.
My responsibilities included:
- Installing and configuring Citirx XenApp and XenDesktop on the datacenter hardware servers.
- Configuring Active Directory to manage user authentication and authorization.
- Implementing Netapp Storage for data management
- Installing and configuring NComputing thinclients for students to connect to citrix from the lab
This project was completed within the given timeline and budget. The college administration was satisfied with the coutcome as the studens were able to access the educational resources remotely without any hassle

The Implementation of Citrix XenApp and Xendesktop at kumaraguru college of Technology, Coimbatore was a successful project. The students were able to access the educational resources from the lab, and the college administration was pleased with the results. The project enhanced my skills and experience in implementing citrix solution in education environments.
Conclusion.
The Citrix Implementation project at kumaraguru college of Technology, Coimbatore was a great success. As a vendor, I was able to implement Citrix XenApp and Xendesktop with Active Directory. NetApp storage, and Ncomputing Thin clients. The project provided students with easy access to educational resources from the lab, and the college administration was satisfied with the outcome.
